i'm late to knowing there was a trend around tinned fish in america. i'm confused bc as an american my grandma loved sardines and we would eat them all the time with mustard, hot sauce and crackers. i come back to them again and again. i love eating them with cucmber, tomatoes, onion, etc but this video gave me some amazing ideas. also mackerel and salmon cakes are a very traditional southern dish. anyways, loved this video!! also i lived in spain for three years and miss THOSE sardines but america does have some good options like smoked varieties <33
